About the Tour
Skagway is filled with Gold Rush Landmarks from 1897-1898. At one time, Skagway city had more than 80 saloons and a red light district was across the entire settlement; this unscrupulous Klondike boom town holds the ghosts of men and women haunted by gold. Desperate men gambled in dusty back rooms while savy soiled doves traded love for loneliness in exchange for one pinch of a sourdough's poke. Prickly gunmen walked these streets, and all these characters can be found nowhere else on earth.
Earth's true majesty surrounds the Klondike Highway and nestles the famous Yukon & White Pass railroad as you ascend to the summit where Jack London himself once stood. Come hungry; come thirsty; come cold. Just don't come for the gold. This is the truely the Last Frontier.
